Peaceful Knitter
I have been knitting seriously for about 2 years now. Join me as I collect some gorgeous yarn, try to learn a few new tricks, and have a lot of knitting fun along the way! My goal: progress not perfection.
I view knitting as a meditation, an act of great patience and joy. I knit to relax, to quiet the chatter in my mind, and to refocus my energy on something positive, enjoyable, challenging, and beautiful.
While knitting is my main hobby, I’m also a voracious reader, moviegoer, dog and cat lover, home cook, and driver of a Mini Cooper. I am a professionally trained pastry chef and once made candy in Martha Stewart’s kitchen. Now my work leans more toward the inedible arts: photography, writing, painting, interior design, and knitting, of course!

I can’t believe you knit a sock while I was having my toenail excised! I suppose the pain distracted me from noticing.

Hello PK,
Happened upon your site and would love to join the crowd of knitters. Approaching retirement in June and looking forward to many days and nights of knitting. Am quite concerned about the Ossipee mountain area knitters I have not yet met and hope there is a group of enthusiasts.
Please add me to your list!
Thanks,
Anne
